The PSU Rugby Club is a self-coached, competitive student athletics club which was established in 1972. All members of the PSU Rugby Club are full-time students at Pittsburg State University. The club is a member of the USA Rugby Gateway Conference competing for the Collegiate Division II National Championship and is currently ranked #32 in the nation. The team is comprised of 25-35 student athletes. In the fall and spring matches are played with 15 players on the field for each team. The spring also includes a faster paced game, playing with 7 players, which has its own collegiate national championship. The club travels to games within Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Colorado. It is the individual club member’s responsibility to support themselves financially which includes the purchase of uniforms, tournament fees, lodging, gas and food.
To help lessen the financial burden for these students, we ask you to consider a financial gift to the PSU Rugby Club. Simply click the “Give Now” button to process your gift!
