The Proven.Promise.PittState. Capital Campaign

The name is full of meaning —

Proven.

PSU has a proven history of more than a century of success. And together, with our donors, the PSU Foundation has proven we can support the University wholeheartedly.

Promise.

We promise to be good stewards of donor gifts, and will build upon prior success; and we have great hope for future accomplishments.

PittState.

We are uniquely Pittsburg State University—from our traditions to our mascot, to our community support—very few can brag like we can.

The Campaign emphasized a single vision: to strengthen the attributes that make Pittsburg State University the first choice for students seeking academic excellence. Donor support allows Pittsburg State to attract and retain the very best students, faculty and staff.

Campaign Areas of Focus were informed by the Pittsburg State University Strategic Priorities:

  • SCHOLARSHIPS – Students with the ability and desire to attend Pittsburg State will have the opportunity to do so through scholarship support.
  • PROGRAMS – Students will have access to meaningful learning experiences that are challenging and relevant.
  • FACULTY SUPPORT – Students will learn from the best educators.
  • FACILITIES – Students will learn in state-of-the-art environments that support current teaching methods.

PSU Foundation Chairs during Campaign planning and execution:

Charlie Myers (2013-15)
Steve Sloan (2015-17)
Donna Geisler (2017-19)
Troy Hill (2019-21)

Thanks to YOU, Pittsburg State will continue to be a destination of choice.
